The development results in a significant capital investment of over £5m for the society for which the store will provide a range of community services and local events; to that end the generous outside space will enable amazon lockers, outside seating, cycle racks, defibrillator, outside seasonal sales space and electric vehicle charging. Inside the store a new, extended food to go offer and big night concept will sit alongside horticulture, gifting and an extensive offer of chilled products.

The local centre provides a large car park and easy access for pedestrians from both the surrounding residences and neighbouring care home. The store has already had such fantastic feedback from the local community.
