As a finance administration assistant with us you will assist in the Finance function of the Society in an efficient and accurate manner being an integral part of process and system’s continual improvement, reporting to Head of Finance and Team Leaders.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, analytically minded individual capable of prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines, team player, proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, IT Literate.
Review of cash statements prepared by all locations and if necessary, assist in the completion of said cash statements.
Reconcile all elements of the cash statements with the relevant control accounts, for example (list not exhaustive):
Society Staff Bonus Vouchers.
Lottery & Paypoint Transactions.
External Vouchers dealt with via MRM.
Internal & External Gift Vouchers.
Closing cash in hand.
Posting of purchase invoices either manually, via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) or via Electronic Data Interchange.
Deal with all supplier enquiries whether raised internally or externally.
Reconcile supplier accounts to supplier statements when received.
Liaise with other team members to ensure all Fixed Asset additions and highlighted and dealt with correctly.
To perform any ad-hoc tasks requested by Management Executive and line managers.
Have a basic understanding of VAT & Banking processes within the Society.
