Driven by our passionate members, we have championed the Fairtrade movement since 1994, supporting trade justice through better prices, working conditions, and terms of trade. You can find a range of Fairtrade products in our stores.

We’re proud that all of our Co-op fresh meat is 100% British and we’re supporting British farmers. Additionally, all of our Co-op milk is also 100% British as well as a large range of fresh produce.

Our Space to Thrive initiative cements our commitment to chicken welfare. We  work with our supplier partners to ensure welfare remains a priority and that we deliver on the expectations of our members and customers into the future.

Our Co-op seafood standards have been in place since 2008 to ensure all seafood is responsibly sourced from well-managed farms and fisheries, minimising our impact on the marine environment.
